Accessibility
Our goal is to make this event as accessible as possible for presenters and attendees alike. We are working with the McBurney Center at UW-Madison to provide closed captioning for the event. The event will also be live streamed for those unable to attend in-person.
If you need any additional accommodation to attend this event, including sign language interpretation, please contact Meg Baker at water@mailplus.wisc.edu. All accommodation requests should be made no less than two weeks (by April 4th) before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date, but cannot guarantee they will be met.
We are proud to be a featured event during this year’s Wisconsin Water Week. As organizations across come together in conversation, we are happy to help make this week “a time for everyone and anyone to learn more about what’s happening with our precious water resources and how they can be involved in protecting and restoring them.” Be sure to check out events happening in your area, and make sure to register for the statewide Lakes and Rivers Convention on April 19 – 21st.
This year, our Symposium also falls within the UW-Madison Office of Sustainability’s Earth Week, described “as an opportunity to celebrate as well as critically examine our relationships with the natural environment—and with each other.” Check out events on their webpage for more information.
