Research Summary

In addition to leading the Conservation Professional Training Program (which carries the Wisconsin Idea nationwide by creating innovative natural resources trainings for public and private sector conservation advisors based on the latest research), I coordinate a 20 year study (joint with the Wisconsin DNR) that focuses on the root causes and impacts of manure spills in Wisconsin, a 20+ year inventory and analysis of the manure application and transportation technology used by the for hire manure industry in Wisconsin, and investigate the impacts of land spreading regulations on well water contamination.
