Research Summary
My research centers on fisheries ecology and management in temperate lakes. A major focus is the effects of climate change on inland waters and the development of climate adaptation practices. I also study social-ecological dynamics, including how, why, and when anglers decide to fish, and how their behavior responds to a changing fisheries landscape. In addition to my research role at UW, I serve as a research liaison to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and co-chair the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts Fisheries Working Group.
