- Research Summary
- Research in Dr. Jensen's lab spans a range from field studies of recreational fisheries and climate change in the US and Mongolia to impacts of oil spills and marsh restoration in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. His research on global fisheries sustainability has used fish population data to examine: the relative effectiveness of different management approaches, the rebuilding time of overfished stocks, the effectiveness of marine reserves, and the impacts of climate change on freshwater and marine fish populations. A current focus of work in Dr. Jensen's lab is the social-ecological dynamics of recreational and commercial fisheries.
