- I have nearly 25 years of experience leading complex hydropower (including pumped storage), biofuel, water, climate change, food-energy-water nexus and technology commercialization programs funded by government agencies, international financial institutions, research programs, foundations and private companies in nearly 20 countries on 6 continents. I have worked on the development, engineering, or construction of 30+GW hydropower projects. I currently oversee the business operations of Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center, the largest federal grant at UW. We conduct cutting-edge basic research on converting non-food biomass into biofuel and bioproducts.
