Bodies of Water by Sabrina Bonine and Vivian Simpson
Copyright Statement
7 minutes Dance, screen dance, audio In Collaboration with Katie Hein, Research Scientist, Trout Lake, UW-Madison Division of Extension
We were paired with Katie Hein who investigates the health of lake habitats by studying their shorelines. We were inspired by Katie Hein’s research and the Four Lakes region that our campus sits on to draw comparisons between the annual cycles of the lakes and the process of flow in their choreography. We invite you to dip your toes into the artwork and explore how our movement qualities and shapes are reminiscent of the many ways water exits around us.
