5 minutes Dance recording In Collaboration with Sarah Brown, Washburn County Natural Resources Educator, Extension Washburn County, University of Wisconsin-Madison
My medium is my body. Similar to water, movement can flow, change directions, and ride the wave through intention and instinct
In this work, movement becomes a vessel for storytelling, supported by a sound score that blends voice, environmental sound, and music. The audio component reflects my belief in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration. Through this pairing, I hope to create multiple access points for connection, regardless of one’s background or experience with dance. My process was intuitive and relationship-driven, exploring the textures and rhythms of water, both in nature and in sound.
Sharing Currents invites you to experience movement not only through a visual lens but through auditory form, challenging you to discover your relationship to art, water, and the stories that flow between.
