20” x 30” Print & 27” x 14” Lamp Mixed Media In Collaboration with Catie Geib, Lake Superior Collaborative
Much like the glimmering glow of moonlight reflected on the surface of the water, the spirit of resilience gently guides a weary soul onward through its pervicacious moxie. The journey of change is inevitable as our earth spins madly on and one’s spirit shifts much like the movement of sediment or Lake Superior’s evolving ecosystem. These pieces represent the spirit of resilience through the lens of a collaborative that strives for restorative harmony and an individual who seeks solace as they navigate a complex medical journey. Joined together through a fond respect towards water, leading to a collaboration of whimsical meliorism. May your mind’s neurons flow with unhindered vim towards a brighter future and your spirit spout a resilient tenacity as fierce as the depths of Lake Superior.

ABOUT THE WATER PARTNER
Catie Gieb: “I’m a connector of people, places, and conservation action. I support partners across the Wisconsin Lake Superior Basin as they plan, prioritize, and implement large-scale conservation efforts that are smarter, stronger, and more aligned. My background is rooted in collaborative conservation, partnership building, outreach, and education. I believe the best outcomes come from working together, listening deeply, and centering both ecological and community needs. I help the people doing the work find each other, share resources, and stay focused on what really matters: a better future for the land and water we all call home. Outside of work, I’m either baking something new or fly fishing with my partner and two dogs somewhere in Wisconsin’s wild places.”
