- Research Summary
- I experiment with stakeholder and public engagement strategies to inform the responsible governance of emerging biotechnologies for conservation. Past projects have focused on the genetically engineered American chestnut tree, gene drives to manage agricultural pests, and genetic biocontrol of invasive rodents on oceanic islands. My current US Fish & Wildlife supported work explores stakeholder and tribal engagement surrounding genetic biocontrol strategies for aquatic invasive species in the Great Lakes region. I am an interdisciplinary social scientist with expertise in science and technology policy.
