Lake Mendota, favorite site for UW-Madison water scholars since the late 1800s. Today, the scope and diversity of research extend far beyond this shore!

Innovation Overflow award: Bennett McAfee for his integration of machine learning techniques with process-based modelling to understand complex lake water quality dynamics.
