In Collaboration with Anne Nardi, UW-Extension

My water partner focuses a lot on communication with water professionals, so I pivoted more to creating understanding. My piece is a very ‘watered down’ version of the Dane County watershed map, but I wanted to also add more playful elements to the piece with color and textures with the beads and the crocheted piece. One thing that I really thought about with this piece was scale, because with beads you can lose detail, which was something I struggled with in this piece. This piece is a combination of my water partner’s work and my artistic passions.
