Research Summary

I am a sociologist focused on how households and communities respond to changing environmental conditions; particularly how they deal with exposure to and potential exposure to climate hazards like hurricanes and flooding. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods to understand how climate hazards change housing markets and residential mobility patterns and alter neighborhood- and population-level processes.
