The idea behind this piece is the hope and results of water restoration work. After having seen project sites and given an idea of the before and after, I used the positive outcomes to put forth the idea of hope and change into my work. Each enamel piece shows either imagery directly related to the restorative work, or an example of the wildlife and how it has benefited from the intervention and change brought upon it. Materials used included enamel, which I felt necessary due to the need for color in this particular piece. A fabric background seemed fitting to display the metal, and helps in the display.
